I wasn't given every detail, but he's themed after the red string of fate. He has strings keeping him together, and the pools of string are supposed to be reminiscent of pools of blood everywhere.
I was also told that the one of the points of the piece is that people are supposed to question why it's all over, and it seems I have succeeded. 👍

This is a good question, in theory any character that isn't a fanart is an OC, but the ones I care enough about to give them a name at the moment are only two: Cyberella (this one) who I would like to use as the protagonist for a comic and Jaggies , which is a devil that I have never posted here on newgrounds yet

It's actually a nickname I gave myself during high school. A mix between batman, my name and bat the object. I felt a bit punk, I wanted to smash things XD
Then over time it became my name on all my social networks and my signature
